In following the advice issued by the Australian Government on Friday 13th March, The Business of Events (to have taken place on the 19th March 2020 at Luna Park, Sydney), the National 4×4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo Brisbane (to have taken place between the 27th- 29th March at Brisbane Showgrounds) and the Australian Energy Storage Conference & Exhibition (to have taken place between the 20th – 21st May at the Adelaide Convention Centre) and Motorclassica will be postponed and will not proceed in 2020. Instead, all events will return in 2021.
Effective immediately, ticket sales for these Events are now suspended and we are carefully working through the next steps to determine potential new dates for our Events.
Our first priority is the safety of everyone including attendees, exhibitors, our personnel and members of the local community.
Further information regarding the next course of action for ticket holders, exhibitors, speakers and sponsors will be communicated in due course and we thank you in advance for your patience as we deal with what is an unprecedented situation
With regards to our other events, these will proceed as scheduled.
We are closely monitoring the ongoing advice and guidance issued by the Australian Government, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and local health authorities.
We remain vigilant and understand COVID-19 as a fluid situation that will continue to be watched closely.
The advice of the authorities and health professionals will be followed in the planning and execution of all events, with all required measures to be implemented.
ETF encourages the community to follow the recommendations of the Australian Government, the WHO and local health authorities and as standard to reduce exposure to and the transmission of COVID-19.
Should you feel unwell, seek immediate medical assistance and reconsider your attendance at any event. In the following scenarios, we ask that you please refrain from attending an event:
- left, or transited through mainland China in the last 14 days (please isolate yourself for 14 days from leaving mainland China)
- left, or transited through Iran on or after 1 March (please isolate yourself until 14 days after leaving Iran)
- been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus in the last 14 days (please isolate yourself for 14 days after the date of last contact with the confirmed case).
